Seputar Morphology
Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh
What is morphology?
Morphology is the branch of linguistics that identifies basic units of language as units. Morphology studies the ins and outs of word forms and the effect of changes in word shape changes on word groups and meanings. The word morphology comes from the Greek "morphe" which is combined with "Logos".
Morphe: Form
Logos: Knowledge
So, based on the meaning of the elements of its formation, the word morphology means the science of form.
=> Scope of Morphology
1. Morpheme
is the smallest unit of form in a language that still has meaning and cannot be divided into smaller units. For example in the words carry, home, and play can not be divided again.
Example:
Word: Memperbesar : Enlarge
Mem- perbesar : enlarge
Per- besar : Per-large
If it is cut again, then be and sar have no meaning. Shapes like mem, spring, and large are called morphemes.
morpheme is divided into 2, namely:
1. Free Morpheme: is a morpheme that can stand alone, for example in big words.
2. Tied morpheme: is a morpheme that cannot stand alone but must be bound by free morpheme, for example Mem and Per
2. Allomorphs and Morphs
Alomorf is a member of the morpheme that has been determined its position. For example, ber, be, and bell are allomorphs of ber, as in the words singing, working and learning. while the allomorph is a morpheme whose position has not been determined. For example / i / in the word "kenai".
Conclusion
So, Morphology is studying the intricacies of word forms and the effects of change word form changes to the group and meaning of words and the functions of changes the form of the word itself. Which Morfology itself has a function, namely: For know how the word forms change, both from grammatical functions and semantics, Knowing how the ins and outs of words, Knowing how a the meanings arising from grammatical events, and studying general events, successive events occur, or in other words as a system in language.

what difference does each affix in morphology have in common?
BalasHapusAffixes are bound units (a certain set of letters) which when added to a basic word will change the meaning and form a new word. Affixes cannot stand alone and must be attached to other units like the word base.
Hapus-Prefix
The prefix or prefix is an affix that is affixed at the beginning of a root word. The word prefix is absorbed from the word prefix which consists of the word "fix" which means to affix and "pre" which means before.
-Inffix or insert is an affix affixed in the middle of a word. The following is a list of words in Indonesian that can be inserted:
1) Insert-el-
ex: Jajah is roaming
-Sufixes or suffixes are affixes affixed at the end of a word. Various kinds of suffixes are: -an, -kan, -i, -wati, -wan, -man, -logi, -sasi, -if, -is, -iah, etc.
Example words: toys, fetch, water, employee, artist, selfish, natural, etc.
-Confix
Confixes are affixes consisting of prefixes and suffixes that are placed between the basic words. The word confix comes from the Latin con- (with) and fix- (additional).
Tahnk you shinta.better add a detailed explanation in your blog, so it is better🤗
BalasHapusokay thanks for the advice, I will change it for the better.🤗
Hapusthere is an understanding of morphology is to learn the ins and outs of words and the effects of change, I still do not understand what the ins and outs of the word form?
BalasHapusthat is to say, the word is related or related to each other
HapusHmmm... Excusme shinta, let me help you to answer her question.
HapusMorphology learn the ins and outs of word and the effect of change. I think it would be better if i explain it by example.
For e.g:
Work = this word is verb right? But when we add "er" at the end of work, it will be "worker". Work and worker are different right?. Worker is "pekerja" and that is a "noun".
So the ins is 'work' and then the outs is 'worker' after we add "er"
Work ⏩ verb
Worker ⏩ noun
I hope it can help you to understand morphology del 😊
thank you for helping me mona, you so kind 😊 thanks for visiting my blog. I hope this blog can help you
Hapuswow, the theme of the blog I really like
BalasHapusThank you delvi 😍
Hapuscomment like this just hurt my eyes and make me so kzl.
Hapuswhy you so lazy and not creative , so many comnt you can give but you just type one sentence . I think its better a people like you to keep silent and don't ever come to people blog
I just wrote it because he said he liked the theme of my blog, so I thanked her. and I've also answered the question, if I'm lazy I won't answer all the questions and comments given on my blog. duhh
Hapushello sinta 🥰 how do you understand morphology?
BalasHapusYes, InsyaAllah I'm understand about this material 😊
Hapushey sinta😍 can you give another example of free morpheme?
BalasHapusYes sure 😊
Hapusbefore entering the example we must know what free morpheme is right ... free morpheme is a morpheme that can stand alone in terms of meaning, which does not have to be associated with other morphemes. Free morpheme is also considered a morpheme which has the potential to be able to stand alone in a sentence structure. All basic words are classified as free morphemes. Example:
Hapus• This chair is made of mahogany, the "chair" here is a free morpheme consisting of one morpheme.
• I am not married, "I" here is a free morpheme consisting of one morpheme.
Up to here understand irma ? 😊
Hapushey sinta😍 can you give another example of bound morpheme?
BalasHapusHi irma, I will try to answer your question. to know the example of course we must first know what is the meaning of morpheme bound, right? Bound morphemes are morphemes whose use cannot be free because these morphemes are bound to other morphemes. One example of bound morpheme is stop. This is because the stop must be bound by the morpheme "ber" so that it forms a stop word or is bound to the morpheme "right" to form the stop word. That is all and thank you
HapusSorry shinta, i wanna answer irma's question.
HapusOkay irma, as what shinta's expalain before that bound morpheme cant stand alone. It can be affixes, or in bahasa we call it as ' imbuhan'
For example: an-, -able, -ness, un-, -ly, and etc.
If you want more example, You can search it on google with key wors " example of bound morpheme"
thanks for helping me again mona
HapusMy blog is good than yours!😏
BalasHapusHaha really? what makes you so sure of that? 😋
Hapushttps://linguistikfromwanrizkaa.blogspot.com/2019/12/you-must-know-about-semantic.html
HapusYou can check this!! And you will know that:)
haha I've seen your blog, but it seems that my blog is still much better 😎 Do you understand what you explained there?
HapusHi Shinta!
HapusI have read another blog and I found that morpheme has 2 parts. There are free morphemes and bound morphemes but until now I am still confused about bound morphemes. Can you tell me about it and give me an example of that ??
Shinta Silvia Of course I understand 100% of what I have made in my blog, if I don't understand I will not make the materi about that. Duhh:/
HapusOK wan, I just thought of ending all this debate :) it's not calm. later it will be a fight 🤣 by the way everyone has their own tastes yes maybe you think your blog is better but we have the characteristics of each in making a blog, right? so the most important thing here is how we can get comments according to each other's needs 😂 if you don't still don't understand you can ask as much about this material
HapusHi Ririn Anggraini
HapusI will try to answer your question. to know the example of course we must first know what is the meaning of morpheme bound, right? Bound morphemes are morphemes whose use cannot be free because these morphemes are bound to other morphemes.
Example :
• When will the rain stop. "Stopping" here is bound morpheme because it cannot stand alone, and is bound to "ber" morpheme
• Fight for your dignity and status, "fighting" here is a morpheme bound because it cannot stand alone and is filled with a "per-and-morph" morpheme.
Heiii sinta!!! I am sorry before, you studied in the English department and faculty, why don't you use English written in your blog? it will appear as if you are using it
BalasHapusOh you're right about that, I did not think until there was, thank you for reminding me fina 😍
Hapusok, I understand that maybe you're in a pinch so that it becomes so
Hapusyes very very emergency at the time 😂 now I will improve my blog so it is even better
Hapusdo it fast !! if not I will blad your blog this humm. but even so you can blog too, because the color combination is quite soft
Hapusyes I will do it now but after I reply all comments on my blog
HapusHello shinta we have a same material "morphology" 🤭
BalasHapuswe are majoring in English not Indonesian literature, your blog can be replaced with English so that it reflects and shows that you are an English child, English education is cool you must show it. :)
Oh yeah, I know that. I will replace it. Thank you :)
HapusYou are welcome
Hapusimmediately change the language of your blog, show to people that English education is cool 😎
Alright, I will always remember that. Do you understand what has been explained there? if you haven't asked 😊
HapusHello shinta, thankyou for your information, but the way your explanation is less interesting, difficult to understand, make it more interesting so I don't get sleepy reading it
BalasHapusOkay, thanks for your comment. where do you not understand?
HapusCan you more explain about bound morphemes, you not give the example about that, and why? Why bound morphemes cannot stand alone? Why?
HapusOkay, I will try to answer your question. to know the example of course we must first know what is the meaning of morpheme bound, right? Bound morphemes are morphemes whose use cannot be free because these morphemes are bound to other morphemes.
HapusExample :
• When will the rain stop. "Stopping" here is bound morpheme because it cannot stand alone, and is bound to "ber" morpheme
• Fight for your dignity and status, "fighting" here is a morpheme bound because it cannot stand alone and is filled with a "per-and-morph" morpheme.
and in my opinion why bound morphemes cannot stand alone, that is because if they stand alone Morphemes are bound to have no meaning, but if they are joined or combined with other words then Morpheme becomes more meaningful.
I hope this brief explanation can help 😊
thank you so much for your explanation, now I understand shinta. but may I ask you? what makes you interested in this branch of linguistics? what's with morphology?
HapusHaha I chose morphology because I wanted to learn more about this knowledge. it seems morphology is very interesting to explore ... yes even though it's not easy but it becomes a new challenge for me 😂😂
HapusYeah l know you want to learn this knowledge, but why? Why this branch? Why not the another branch? Waw amazing, you know from beginning its not eassy to you but you still want this material. So proud of you
HapusAnd shinta, l wanna ask you again. I think you just give a little axplanation about your material, do you think your eyes are complete? or how?
HapusI have explained everything I have learned but I will add a few more explanations so that the readers understand more
HapusShinta please your explain what is fungtion gramatic and fungtion semantic?
BalasHapusokay, thanks for your Question. I will try to expalain it, In the morphological process there are two functions, namely the grammatical function and the semantic function. Grammatical functions are functions related to grammar, hereinafter referred to as functions. Semantic functions are functions related to the meaning of words, hereinafter referred to as meaning terms.
HapusFor example, those related to function are the word hoe including nominal word group, after having affixed it becomes a hoe which belongs to the verbal word group. So it can be said that the affixes here have a grammatical function as forming verbal words.
Another example, for example, which relates to the meaning of the word hill which has meaning in the dictionary is a pile of soil that is higher than the surrounding area, lower than the mountain. As a result of the attachment of affixes to become hill, which means "to be like a hill". So it can be said that the affixes here have a semantic function. Thank you
I think u need to use English Language shin. 'cause we English Student right ? its will be complicated i know. but its either can help me and your other readers to learn more and focuse. especially to find the meaning
BalasHapusokay, thanks for the advice. some other friends have also reminded me about it, yes I was wrong because I did not try to use English on my blog but now I have fixed it. Are there other comments for the contents of my blog?
HapusHi shinta,,,I have a suggestion for you, you should change the theme of your blog, because I think your blog is too crowded and boring
BalasHapusokay, thanks for visiting my blog. I think the theme I chose is good, but it's not different whether each person's tastes are different. I accept your advice, thank you 😊
HapusHi i any question for you
BalasHapusWhy does affix not have lexical meaning but only cause grammatical meaning?
Hello Riska, I will try to answer your question. sorry if wrong, we must first know what is the meaning of the lexical meaning. Understanding lexical meaning, namely: according to Waridah, (2008: 292), lexical meaning is a word that has a basic meaning or original meaning. In addition, this meaning is also referred to as a dictionary meaning, because the meaning of this word is located or listed in the dictionary, especially the Large Indonesian Dictionary (KBBI). For example:
HapusCats (KBBI): animals that seem like small tigers, and can be kept by people.
Ears (KBBI): a tool for hearing.
while the affix is part of the grammatical meaning where the basic word given the affix will have a new meaning. Maybe that's what I can explain, thank you.
oo to shinta, I understand a little about what you mean, but what about the example, try to give an example to me, so that I can understand more
HapusExamples of Grammatical Sentences
HapusDrinks, drinks, drinkers (grammatical meaning). Example: The police confiscated several boxes of liquor from inside the shop. Early in the morning, at night, his work was just sitting and drinking. All the people in this village knew that he was a drinker.
Examples of Lexical Sentences
When I wake up, my mother tells me to drink a glass of warm water. (drinking = lexical meaning) This weekend we and our family spent time at home. (house = lexical meaning) since childhood, he has lost the figure of a mother. (mother = lexical meaning) Look! It was only 8:00 a.m. He had eaten three times. (eating = lexical meaning) Dad arrived late at the office this morning, because his car broke down. (car = lexical meaning)

Hi shinta silvia, i ever read another blog and i find if morphemes has 2 parts. There are free morpheme and bound morpheme but untill now i am still confuse about bound morpheme . Can you tell me about it ??
BalasHapusHi Nailaalfisha 👋
HapusI will try to answer your question. to know the example of course we must first know what is the meaning of morpheme bound, right? Bound morphemes are morphemes whose use cannot be free because these morphemes are bound to other morphemes.
Example :
• When will the rain stop. "Stopping" here is bound morpheme because it cannot stand alone, and is bound to "ber" morpheme
• Fight for your dignity and status, "fighting" here is a morpheme bound because it cannot stand alone and is filled with a "per-and-morph" morpheme.
I hope this brief explanation can help 😊
Thank you to visit my blog
thank you for giving the best answer , you explain so clear and good make me understand about bound morpheme and free morpheme. you are welcome i am so glad because visited your blog .
Hapusi understand about your explanation , because it is very clear but now i want to ask why we should learn about moprhology ?? what is the function of learn morphology ??
Hapusshintia i want to ask you , moprhology and morpheme are same or no ?? if they are same what is relationship between morphology and morpheme?? but if they are not same what is different between them ??
Hapusthank you naila, i also like visiting your blog. keep up the spirit yes to post things that are useful 😊
HapusAlright, I'll try to answer your question. there is
HapusSome important reasons for learning morphology are increasing knowledge, making it easy to use morpheme, knowing from some word functions and making it easier for someone to communicate.
thank you
in my opinion morphology and morpheme are not the same, because morphology is a branch of linguistics while morpheme is included in the scope of morphology
HapusHi shinta..your explanation is in English but the examples are in Bahasa. Can you give the examples in English too? Maybe we can get the understanding more about it and you can share the links that you have too so we learn from each other and see from the other perspective.😊
BalasHapusHello Fransiska Gan 👋
Hapusthank you for the advice, why I use Indonesian for example. because in order to make it easier for others who visit my blog and this blog is open to the public can be seen by anyone who all can understand English so I took the initiative to use his example with Indonesian. But it's okay I will consider your suggestion, because we are also English department students so we should use and practice it more often, right 😊
Thank you to visit my blog 😊
You're welcome Shinta. Many of our friends using Bahasa as examples too to get the understanding of others but we need to learn more to write, give suggestion, or other comments to get more knowledge in writing and the vocabularies as well. Hope we can learn from each other again in other topics. Have happy dayd Shinta.
Hapusyes you're right, maybe I should use English for example. because besides we always use English we will continue to be trained in writing and can also add to our vocabulary too right. thank you for reminding me, have a nice day 😻
HapusHi shinta. How are you today? 🙂🙂 first time I visit your blog I am very interesting, but I have a question for you. Can you give me the simple example about Allomorphs and Morphs? To make me more understand🙂🙂
BalasHapusHello Hera Yunita 👋
BalasHapusAlhamdulillah I am good, thank you for asking about my news. How about you ??
Alright I'll try to answer your question, Alomorf
=> is a form of morpheme whose status is known.
Example:
haired, bear,
1. assemble. ket: morpheme changes become when entering the word environment which contains the phoneme r in the first syllable.
2. learning ket: morpheme changes into learning when entering the teaching environment
Meanwhile, Morph is part of a morpheme that is not yet a member of the morpheme or in other words its status is unclear.
Example :
Morph / mem / appears 6 times in the word:
• read = read
• improved = good
• freeze = freeze
• enlarge = large
• make = create
• rot = rot
Bahasa Indonesia:
contoh : Morf /mem/ muncul 6 kali dalam kata:
•membaca = baca
•membaik = baik
•membeku = beku
•membesar = besar
•membuat = buat
•membusuk = busuk
Hopefully this little explanation can help, thanks for visiting my blog 😊
wowww nice shinta silvia.... thank you cause you answer my question shinta, and you can make me more understand about your explanation.... thank you for that shinta silvia
Hapusi hope we can learn together in the next time yeahhhh shinta silvia.... i want to share my knowledge with you too.... keep writing shinta silvia, keep spirit and do the best for the next time yeahhhhh..........
Hapusbut, shinta...i have a little suggestion for you. i think your explanation is good, but if you put the link in your explanation. i think that's it will be very good shinta......
Hapusdon't worry about my suggestion yeahhh shinta.......... this is just my suggestion for you. if you agree it's okay, if you disagree no problem...... thank you shinta and see you........
HapusSo far its realy good, but i wanted to know about have you ever apply this materi to your daily life? Because your explanation is clear but it will be very useless if you as a writter doenst apply this to your daily life??? So ever you haaaahhh?????
BalasHapusBtw i dont like your theme because its so. Standart and make anyone feel bored to read you materi zzzzz
Hi Siti Wahyuni
Hapusthank you for giving comments to my blog, yes I just learned linguistics especially this morphology so I try to practice it in daily life and for my theme I admit that everyone has their own standards maybe for you my theme is standard but it's okay. I will try to fix anything that is lacking from my blog and every comment given to me makes me motivated to continue to change me and my mindset for the better, thank you 🌼
yes shinta l agree with siti wahyuni, your theme is standard, but l think its not bad too because dont make my eyes hurt :) calm, have siti wahyuni much more standard wkwk
Hapushaha no problem sahara, in the future I will make my blog more creative of course. thank you for the comment
Hapusand shinta I remember how nervous you are when explain this materi in front of the class , but here you so good to answer the comment . its easy to copas right ? wkwkwk , when I look at you sentence is look very clear that u use google translate ups :d hmmmm so classic and very just ordinary .
Hapusyes I really love learning morphology and it is very challenging for me, if the nervous problem in front of the class is indeed not normal. I really feel forward every time I feel nervous even though I have mastered the material for sure when in front of it there will be forgotten :v
HapusHi shinta 🌸 how are you ? I hope you are good💕 Shinta, I think it's a simple explanations about morphology and I like it, but I want to ask to you, can a word has 2 or more morphemes ? If yes, please give me some examples of that. Thank you Shinta 🌸 Salam EsJuCoal
BalasHapusHello Ester Juliana 👋
HapusThank you for asking about my situation. Alhamdulillah, I'm good, how about you?
Alright I'll try to answer your question ...
Morpheme is the smallest unit of language that still has meaning and cannot be broken down into smaller parts, for example the word books is one word with 2 morphemes, namely morpheme books and morphemes s. Morpheme book means book and morpheme s means plural markers. Thus, we can conclude that in one word can consist of several morphemes and contain at least one morpheme, for example as in the word book, the morpheme is the book itself. So, one word might be a morpheme, but a morpheme is not necessarily a word. Morphemes in the words books, apples, tables are not words.
So, the conclusion in one word there can be several morphemes in it.
hopefully this little explanation can help 🌻
Thank you to visit my blog 😍
Haii ester, haii shinta... 😊
HapusSorry shinta, i wanna try to answer her question
i think morpheme and word are different. Why?? Because word is always can stand alone and always has meaning. But morpheme can be a word or not a word. Why?? Because, there are a morpheme that cant stand alone and dont have a meaning before we add a word (so its not a word), and the second one there are morpheme that can stand alone and have meaning. So we can call it as 'word'.
And your second question the answer is 'yes, it can'.
For example:
* table: consist of 1 morpheme
* walked: consist of 2 morphemes, "walk" and "ed"
* unbelievable: consist of 3 morphemes, "un", "believe", and "able".
So we can conclude that, from a word can consist of more than 1 morpheme.
Hmm, hopefully it can help you to more understand about morphology.
Thank you mona
HapusHi Sinta💖💖, this is the first time I visited your blog when I read your material👀. I don't understand the example you gave. Maybe you can give me another example so that I understand your material, thank you in advance, and for advice, I want to suggest that you are more creative in terms of templates, because in my opinion your template is too simple, hopefully in the future you can be more creative hehe😊😊 I wait for the answer Shinta
BalasHapusHello Refi Yarniati 😍
HapusNice to meet you, if you may know whether all of the examples that I have given that you do not understand or just one of them? which one is that? and for the theme thank you for giving advice, I have several times changed the theme of my blog. do you have any suggestion where i can get or download a good theme?
Thank you to visit my blogg 🌼
Hii shinta 😊💐greetings from me Dzira😊yass i want to say i like your explain😍any video waw is so good💞💞but i want to say again i cant get the gist of it,can you give an explaination of the gist of it?😊
HapusHello Sakseka Dzira 😊
Hapushow are youu? Greetings from me. according to what I have learned about the science of morphology that this science is essentially learning about the ins and outs of word forms and the influence of word shape changes on the group and the meaning of words and the function of word changes, both grammatical and semantic functions. And to determine whether a unit of form is morpheme or not, we must compare the form in its presence with other forms.
I hope that this little explanation can help
Thank you for visiting my blog 🌻
BalasHapusHi hi my sister shinta 🙌 . Hai i am jeje. Hm shinta, i really love your blog . Cause For me, your blog is interesting. Why i love your blog ?? Yeah because It's simple but not boring. and Cause u made the explanation densely, so it's easy to understand. So Simple, but i like it .thankyou shintaa 👌#jeje💞💞
Hello Radini Angelia ✨
Hapushow are you ?? hehe thank you for your appreciation of my blog, you make me even more excited to create a better blog than before and provide more useful knowledge of course. If you still have questions about blogs or material that I submit, I will be very happy to answer them
Thank you for visiting my blog Jeje 💖
Oh hai ny dear shinta, we meet again 😂 . I think, you can give more example about the material . So that your readers will understand your material easily . And maybe you can add the website link so that the readers can learn from the website by their own .thankyou #Jeje💞💞
BalasHapusHi jeje 😍 Thank you for your suggestion, I will list the websites I visited for reference
HapusThank youu
Hi, Sinta Silvia ... this is the first time I visited your blog ... and I was surprised when I saw your propile photo ... I think I know you ... because we were in a group of pamaba time on campus ... do you still remember that ??
BalasHapusHello My friends monic
Hapusof course I remember you and our group friends 😂✨ I'm glad you visited my blog. How are you monic ??? Do you still remember when we had dinner together then after that we took a photo before we performed to show yel yel our group . I miss that moment 😂😂
O my god .. I am truly touched that you still remember it ... of course I remember even I was stubborn to save the photo ... I also feel homesick with those times ... in my opinion you are quiet and quiet that time ... so I am also a little bit in the same mind reluctant to talk to you☺☺☺☺
Hapusand do you know, we also have the same discussion ... that is morphology ... I am very happy to discuss morphology and I think I like that ... I always try to find out things that I don't know about ... oh yes may I ask, why did you choose morhology ?? I think there must be an interesting reason behind it ??😁😈
BalasHapusHaha I chose morphology because I wanted to learn more about this knowledge. it seems morphology is very interesting to explore ... yes even though it's not easy but it becomes a new challenge for me 😂😂
Hapushow about you monic, why do you prefer morphology over other branches of linguistics? and you also must have an interesting reason for that 🤣😎
HapusHii sinta greeting from me monicaa 😅😅😅yes I totally agree with you .. initially I didn't know anything about morphology but it was a challenge for me ... to know more about it😉😉
Hapusdo you know why I chose morphology ?? because the initial letter is the same as my name morphology and monica ?? Isn't this interesting? hahahhaha I chose morphology because I didn't understand the ins and outs of the words ... so I chose it😀😀😀
HapusHii sinta i like your video😍😍but why nothing voice at your video?just your writ, but its okay, you can learn again sinta😊😊
BalasHapusI will clarify that actually it is not a video but a power point 😁 but thank you for commenting on my blog ✨
HapusHello shintia silvia😊😊 . I come back again , still talking about morphemes . It is smallest unit of form in language still has meaning right . But shinta how we know in one word has how many morphemes ?? Possible if on word has more than one morpheme or always only one morpheme ?? *
BalasHapusAnyeong sis ✨
HapusI'll try to answer your question
Alright I'll try to answer your question ...
Morpheme is the smallest unit of language that still has meaning and cannot be broken down into smaller parts, for example the word books is one word with 2 morphemes, namely morpheme books and morphemes s. Morpheme book means book and morpheme s means plural markers. Thus, we can conclude that in one word can consist of several morphemes and contain at least one morpheme, for example as in the word book, the morpheme is the book itself. So, one word might be a morpheme, but a morpheme is not necessarily a word. Morphemes in the words books, apples, tables are not words.
I hope that this little explanation can help 🌻
Aahh so did you mean if one word can be has one morpheme or more than one morphemes right. Look at the word and we can analyse that one word has how many morphemes right .is it true that you mean?? Correct me if i am wrong shinta silvia😊🙏🙏
Hapusyes, you're right. so, for more details you can read the explanation from my friend monalisa 😊
HapusI think morpheme and word are different.
I get it because word can be stand alone and always has meaning . But different with morpheme because not all morpheme can stand alone and has meaning , some of them must be attach with others right . Especially when they are suffix and prefix of course they should attach with the roots . Is it true right shintia . Hope i am correct😊🙏
HapusShinta your discussion is morphology and in my blog i also discuss about morphology . So yeah we have same material here but something in your presentation make me confuse . Part of free mophemes, because you did not make types of free morpheme . Don't you know if free morphemes have 2 parts, there are lexical and functional ??
BalasHapusoh really, I just found out about that. can you explain a little to me sis. thank you
HapusOf course i can give you a litle explanation about it to you 😊😊 . Free morpheme has two parts, they are (1)lexical ( there are noun, verb, and adjective ) for example : girl, boy, work, beautiful and else and (2)functional ( there are conjunction, pronoun, and preposition) for example : than, and , but , they , I and else . Hope you can understanding about it😊😊
HapusHi Shinta Silvia, this is my first time visiting your blog. Your blog is good, but when I see the video explanation of morphology I hope to hear your voice there to explain. I raised the sound of my cellphone but it didn't sound. I just want to give advice, hopefully next time when you make a video you can insert sound in it, thank you 🙏🙏🙏
BalasHapushello desimasarid, thank you for visiting my blog. here I will clarify that it is not a video but an ordinary power point and thanks for the advice 😊✨
HapusI see, that's fine. But I hope you can make a video when explaining, so that your explanation will be more interesting with your voice in providing an explanation or you can also add music in it. I'm sure other times you can make good and interesting video. Keep spirit and keep writing 😊
HapusHi Shinta, I'm a little confused. Why do you explain using Indonesian and English at the same time? I think it's better if you use only one language, because if mixed so it will feel confusing. That's just my opinion, hopefully you can accept it. Thank you 🙏🙏🙏
BalasHapushaha yeah you're right, actually kak fransiska also reminded me of that. but I always forget to change it, it's my mistake. thank you for reminding 😍
HapusAlright if that's the reason, hopefully you can better provide an explanation. The next time you make an explanation, try to take the time to make better and consistent writing in one language so that people who visit your blog don't feel confused. I'm sure you can do it, keep your spirits up 😊💪
HapusHello shinta, can you give another example of morphology?
BalasHapusBecause I still don't understand from the example you gave in your video, I hope you want to reply to it 😊
OK, but can you tell me which example should I give? is morpheme free, bound, or what? so I can explain it to you, hehe 🙏
HapusOh really, I think the morphological example is that it has its own example. It turns out the example is from the morpheme 😅
HapusThen can you give an example of bound morpheme? I hope you want to give an example, thank you 🙏
Hi shinta silvia 🤓🌸 I really like come to your blog 🤣🤣 but I think in this post you forgot to use align text justify, that's why when I open it, it looks different with your last post 🤣🤣🤣
BalasHapushaha really? thank you for liking my blog, I'm not too good at creating blogs so it looks messy but I will learn more so that my blog is getting better 😂😂
HapusHi shinta silvia 🌸 what is your major ? English or Indonesian ? Do I come to a wrong blog ?? 🤣🤣 I think this presentation for English student but the teacher using Indonesian 😏 how is it ? ( ̄﹁ ̄)
BalasHapushello sis 🌼
Hapushaha, actually kak fransiska also reminded me of that. but I always forget to change it, it's my mistake 🙈
Hi shinta silvia ლ(╹◡╹ლ) your template of presentation is okay but if I see that, it is not interesting because of what ? Because of it still same like PPT APP, why did you not use another apps ?? A lot of apps in this world to teach your students on your blog 🙄 huh there is nothing special, just so so ( ̄﹁ ̄)
BalasHapusyes it is ppt, I do not know what to use yesterday when the presentation so I have ppt and quiz :D
HapusHi shinta silvia ლ(╹◡╹ლ) how are you ? I hope you are good 🤓 i just want to give you a question, based on the material previously explained, do you have other opinions in determining morphemes, morphs, and allomorphs? PleaSe explain about it 🤓 thank you shinta silvia ლ(╹◡╹ლ)🌸
BalasHapusokay, i will try to answer your question.
HapusThings that can be used to determine morpheme and not morpheme are:
1. Two forms that are the same or more have the same meaning is a morpheme. For example the word moon in the following sentence is the same morpheme.
- It's been three months he hasn't paid SPP
- December lasts 31 days
2. Two forms that are the same or more if they have different meanings are two different morphemes. For example the word flower in the following sentence which is two different morphemes.
- Bank Indonesia gives 5 percent interest annually
- He came with a bunch of flowers
3. Two different forms, but have the same meaning. Is two different morphemes. For example the word father and the word father in the following sentence are two different morphemes.
- Dad goes to Medan
- Father just returned from Medan
4. The forms are similar (slightly different) but the same meaning is the same morpheme. The origin of the difference in shape can be explained phenologically. For example, the forms of me, me, me, me, me and me and me. In the following words are the same morpheme.
- Look
- Fostering
- listen
.
5. The form that only appears with the only pair is also a morpheme, for example the old form of old-age construction and the form of dripping in wet-drenched construction is also morpheme.
6. Forms that appear repeatedly in larger units if they have the same meaning are also the same morpheme. For example the form of reading in the following words is the same morpheme.
- reading
- Reader
- reading
- reading
7. Forms that occur repeatedly in larger language units if the meaning is different in polysemy are also the same morpheme. For example the word "head" in the following sentences has a different polysemic meaning. But it remains the same morpheme.
- His mother became the principal there
.
- The telephone number is printed on the head of the letter
- The needle head is made of plastic
.
- Each head gets ten thousand rupiah
I can only explain this, if for allomorphs and morphs I have not been able to determine it. if for example I already know, I will tell you
oooww , so long explanation and complicated word , iam curios a people like is just using copy paste system and when iam asking you in live you will cannot answer , right ? come on be better and realize that copy paste is the bad habbit , and now you was do it ! I mean its bad .
HapusOK I know that's a bad habit, but I also need references to increase my knowledge. I still have a lot to learn, especially in this morphology and I try to explain it as much as I can
HapusShintia when i opened your blog and i saw your template emmhh i really like your template😍😍 . Your template blog give good impression for us as a readers 😊😊 . Probably oneday i will try this template in my blog to make my blog interesting like yours😄😊

Hapuscome on dude, how do you know what he wrote is different from what he feels, are you a shaman? wkwkwk try to think positively friend because in Islam also tells us that we have to think positively to others, in order to avoid slander :) and for the emotion he gave, in my opinion it's normal for all of them to give emoticons to me, that's one of their forms of appreciation and surely on your blog sis elyati wrote the same thing on your blog
HapusHello Shinta,,,,, 👋👋👋 are you doing??? Have you fallen asleep???😴😴😴 i have seen your presentation video ... and tried to understand it, what do you know about morphology ??? answered ya, as soon as 🙏🙏🤗🤗🤗
BalasHapushello, now I'm answering all the questions on my blog and also visiting other people's blogs.
HapusI will try to answer your question, Morphology is studying the intricacies of word forms and the effects of change word form changes to the group and meaning of words and the functions of changes the form of the word itself. Which Morphology itself has a function, namely: For know how the word forms change, both from grammatical functions and semantics, Knowing how the ins and outs of words, Knowing how a meanings arising from grammatical events, and learning general events, successive events occurs, or in other words as a system in language. 😊😊
Hello shinta 👋👋👋Your unique template, 👍👍👍invites me to visit your blog again ... 😁😁😁 and now I want to ask👉👉why we learning about morphology ??? Is learnin morphology can improve our English? Please explain, shinta. Thank you 🙏
BalasHapushaha I already gave the link to your first comment, but I'll give it again, hoho 😁😁
Hapushttps://www.freepik.com/search?dates=any&format=search&page=1&query=education%20backgrounds&sort=popular
Some of the most important reasons for learning morphology are increasing knowledge, making it easy to use morpheme, knowing from some word functions and making it easier for someone to communicate.
in my opinion because one of the reasons why the importance of learning morphology is to make it easier for someone to communicate so I think learning morphology can improve our English skills. maybe that's all, thanks 😊
Shintia silvia,i want to ask you about morphology. Morphology is study of formation words and structure of words. Do you think it is need to us to learn about words?? Why we should learn about words ?? I meant we know word and yeah when we are talking we are using word . So can you explain to me why we should learn it ??
BalasHapusAlright, I'll try to answer your question. in my opinion it is important to study the word especially the meaning of the word morphology. Some of the most important reasons for learning morphology are increasing knowledge, making it easy to use morpheme, knowing from some word functions and making it easier for someone to communicate.
Hapusthank you
Aah so did you mean learn morphology can help us to be easier for communication with others people right?? Is it the point that you meant ?? Correct me if i am wrong shintia🙏 . You said "for making it be easy to use morpheme" i don't understand in this part . Can you give me litle explanation and example about it??
HapusGood explanation Sinta, but why don't you try installing a widget on your blog? I think your blog will look more interesting if you use a widget, keep posting dear🌺😅
BalasHapushi amel, thank you for visiting my blog. 😍honestly I do not know how to use the widget how, can you teach me? thank you 😂😂

okay, thanks for the explanation yes amel. if I'm still confused I'll ask you again, can I?
HapusHi Shinta, nice background. It reminds me of one of YouTube channel that I like "5-Minute Crafts". And please give the example using English words, because we all learning Linguistic in English form. Thanks
BalasHapushello, bang theo
Hapus"5-minute Crafts" is also one of my favorite YouTube channels, I subscribe to it and turn on the notification bell button so I can continue to get new knowledge from them 😁 and for example in the Indonesian language, many have commented on it. it's my mistake, i always forget to change it but time after time
I will definitely change it 🙏
Thank you for visiting my blog
Hello shinta... Nice blog, and good explanation.. 👍
BalasHapusAnd you know we have the same topic and i think we can learn togerher and share our understanding about morphology 😊
hello monalisa
Hapusthank you for visiting my blog, your blog is also good. I like your ppt and your presentation is also easy to understand, I will be glad if you want to help me in learning 😊
hmm misiii , I think the morphplogy team is have the very standard style to write the blog wkwkwk , good?nice ? hahahaha so funny and not interesting . where is the creavity ? you all just make blog like old people before x generation
Hapushey who are older than us, in my opinion you are also normal in writing a blog isn't everyone writing the same way and using your hands, wkwk
HapusVery interesting. I like your blog. everything is simple. if you may know, what is the importance of this morphology in linguistics?
BalasHapusAlright, I'll try to answer your question. in my opinion it is important to study the word especially the meaning of the word morphology. Some of the most important reasons for learning morphology are increasing knowledge, making it easy to use morpheme, knowing from some word functions and making it easier for someone to communicate.
Hapusthank you
Hi Sinta, your blog is interesting, I like the template, and the power point is good, if I may suggest you have to add more material.
BalasHapusokay nur, thanks for visiting my blog. I hope this blog can hel you and for your suggestion I will consider it.

Hapushttps://yeyennnlinguistics.blogspot.com/2019/12/hi-guys-lagi-di-blog-aku-masih-dalam.html?m=1
hey friend, for me ppt is still used at this time including you must also use it. I have visited your blog and it's normal, maybe I'll study with others
Hapusshinta, I want to know why you chose mophology, why not other branches of linguistics?
BalasHapusI chose morphology because I wanted to learn more about this knowledge. it seems morphology is very interesting to explore ... yes even though it's not easy but it becomes a new challenge for me 😂
HapusGood is Sinta, you are great, you want to accept challenges, you have to be better and you have to be more enthusiastic, I like those who want to accept challenges👍
Hapusthank you beib, if you have something to ask. just ask, insyaAllah I'm ready to answer it 😁
HapusHello Shinta sekjend😋😆
BalasHapusSuch a great blog! But i wanna ask question. Is it allowed to use the concept of morphology in spoken languages?
hello iffa bukben 😂
HapusI'm sorry iffa, I have not been able to answer questions from you. later when I have it I will immediately tell you, thank you 🙏
Hi ahinta...hoqdy ??i hope you very healthy now..i have a question for you 😂
BalasHapusWhy is it that in morphology we care about is the grammatical reason???
Please help explain it🙏
because as I explained above that this morphology explains the ins and outs of words as well as the meaning of words and has a grammatical function, it is certain that grammar is very much concerned here. and Grammar is the study of the rules governing the use of language. This science is part of the field of science that studies language is Linguistics. and also Grammar is a set of benchmarks in the structure of language. The structure of the language includes speech, form, speech, sentence and meaning. In other words, grammar covers the fields of phonology, morphology and syntax.
Hapusfor more details, I will put a link here, so you better understand it. may be useful 😊

BalasHapushello kak shella, thank you for the advice. I will continue to learn to improve what is missing from my blog, thank you
Hapusmaybe you can make the font bigger and bolder so its going to be easier to read. so we can read and understanding the point of your blog easier.

Hapussiti wahyuni, maybe you who have minus eyes here because you often use glasses on the campus ckck, I'm quite clear reading it and I will keep changing the font for my readers so that they better understand what I mean on my blog
Hapusis there any morphology related to other sciences? if there is please tell and where the source is from
BalasHapusOf course there is and morphology has a lot of connections with other linguistics and you can see it here to be clearer and understandable. thank you

why like the background of the writing in white? it looks normal. even though the theme you chose is good
BalasHapusso whats your problem , event its white its not old like your blog that come from million years ago.you is my team but everywhere I found you you make me feel shame zzzzz , ew hm
Hapusfrom the first I like the white color looks beautiful and white symbolizes purity right.
Hapushi siti, have you and I been a team? do you also discuss morphology and i don't understand what you mean, your speech is chaotic
HapusNice job, you write a really interesting topic to read. For every paragraph it's explain a good information from the topic that you write. And the video explain about the topic, and it's easy to understand too. Thanks!
BalasHapusthank you vira, i hope this blog can help you to better understand about morphology
HapusThe content it's really good i think. But the blog it's boring to see. I hope you can add a another interface to your blog. Improve the interface too, it's really important too for your blog :))
BalasHapusthank you for your advice, can you teach me how? if you want to help me, I will be very happy 😁
Hapushaii sin😁😎✋
BalasHapushmmm why the heck are you still using PowerPoint, there are lots of good apk, so it's not too natural for your morphology to be explained.
what inspired you to choose this 😁?
and What factors cause the structure of words in groups and meanings of words to change?
yes I used ppt at that time because I didn't know what to use, next time when I present I will make it even more creative
BalasHapushi sinta silviaa, this is my first time visiting your blog, i want to ask what is the reason you chose morphology, i will be waiting for your answer🤗🤗
BalasHapushi sinta silvia, how are you? i hope u are healthy, i want to ask what are the benefits of morphology in real life? I will wait for your answer 🤗🤗
BalasHapusHi Sinta Silviaaa, I think your explanation is incomplete about morphology, you have to give a complete explanation so that the reader understands better, you are missing some aspects of morphology
BalasHapushi shinta glad to visit your blog, I want to ask why you have this material? why not the others? There are still many other choices, right? I'm waiting for your answer, yes 😊 thank you 👌😊
BalasHapusAnd I want to ask, what's the benefit that we can get if we study morphology? the benefits I mean is for our daily lives 👌 more appropriate in communicating English 😊👌
BalasHapushehe I want to give you advice 👀 if you can just change your template, the problem is I'm a little complicated with your template, because I have to zoom in first if I want to comment, hopefully you want to accept my suggestion, yes 😊😊
BalasHapus
